Demo reel of work I've done during my first year at a game development course.
After creating a short comic for a uni class, I got to make an animation for a video assignment that came right after. Thought it would be fun to expand on the story and characters a little bit more with this animation.Setting would take place in a post-apocalyptic forest world taken over by plants.
Ironrise is a 2.5D hack and slash made in collaboration with 10 artists and programmers as a capstone project for a game development course. Estimated release around May 2026.I had created attack animations for the player and npc characters. Additionally, I had modelled and rigged the player character for the game and contributed modular assets for environment artists to use.
Attack animations for the player character's melee weapon. A three-hit melee combo with a wrench.
Attack animations for the grunt enemy. A stab quick stab attack.
Attack animations for a mech-like elite enemy. A shield bash with a short windup.
Attack animations for the boss. A spin attack with a windup for telegraphing.
Protagonist of the game, Jane Diesel. Currently responsible for the creation of her model and textures.
Illustration made for the game for posters.
An explosive 3D platformer game. Developed in UE5 with another artist and two programmers.
